WOMEN of NATIONS - Freeing Women From Oppression
Welcome to WOMEN of NATIONS

WOMEN of NATIONS exists as a catalyst and supports women of all nations through the transformation[1]  that occurs when experiencing freedom from all sorts of oppression. As we are headquartered in the United States of America, it seems only appropriate that we begin with our own backyard.  Welcome to the journey.

Special Message penned December 2010; released March 18, 2011; underscored May 23, 2011:

Dear Friends:
Clearly our world is at a crossroad.  At the time of year when so many yearn for peace, we have a challenge identifying a peaceful place on this planet.  That is the truth and although as individuals now is the time to seek God while he may be found.  Every day we see many liberties threatened and are asked to resign from being God-fearing and become man-fearing beings.  It is time to be on our knees seeking the one who already knows every man's heart and still offers forgivemess, restoration and reconciliation.  It is time to seek our creator for his instructions at every turn.  If you're not concerned, you're not paying attention.

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? (Luke 18:7-8 KJV)

The answer is that the Prince of Peace has come to bring the "peace that passes all understanding", but that comes with a responsibility to respond to the gift, Jesus, given to the whole world long ago.

Sincerely,

Colleen T. Raney
Executive Director

VERSE FOR DECEMBER 2010 and MAY 2011: Matthew 25:1-13 (King James Version)

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.  And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.  And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.  But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.  Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

BASIC TRAINING - Food, Shelter, Clothing and Oh Yes, AIR! Let's begin with:

WATER...

"Ask yourself what the world's most precious commodity is, and you might say gold; you might say diamonds. You'd be wrong on both counts. The answer is water.  If by "most precious" we mean what's most desired by most people, nothing comes close to water -- fresh, clean water, that is." - Michael McCarthy
Clean Water:  It looks clean, it smells clean but what's really in it?
  • Lead can enter the water supply through corrosive pipes or improper water treatment
  • Pathogens that cause disease and are especially crippling to those with weakened immune systems
  • By-products of chlorine treatment such as trihalomethanes and haloacetic acids , which have been linked to cancer and reproductive problems
  • Arsenic , which may cause cancer, serious skin problems, birth defects and reproductive problems
  • Radon , a carcinogen linked to lung cancer
